Split Sky

Another new one! This is a 5x10 oil sketch on board done in preparation for the final painting. The final will probably be 12x24 on canvas.
The subject is a farm that I've drawn and photographed many times over the last two years. I've attempted paintings of it before without success—so far. I 'm excited with where this is one is going and eager to work on the final painting.
